N.C. Wyeth Mural Experience
The Brandywine Museum of Art is now offering guided tours of N.C. Wyeth’s monumental mural, Apotheosis of the Family, 1932, housed in a specially designed round barn on Point Lookout Farm—the home of N.C.’s grandson, artist Jamie Wyeth—in nearby Wilmington, DE.
Due to the limited capacity of each tour, advance reservations are required. The N.C. Wyeth Mural Experience is approximately one hour and 40 minutes in length. Guests should plan to arrive and check in at the Museum’s admissions desk 30 minutes prior to their scheduled tour time. Tours leave promptly at each scheduled tour time.
Before purchasing your non-refundable ticket, please read the important information about the N.C. Wyeth Mural Experience—including accessibility limitations, active farm environment, age requirements, refund policy, and more—on our website here.
Please note: children under 12 are not permitted on the tour. Also, the route to get to the Round Barn is not accessible as defined by the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Standards. Due to the nature of the working farm environment at Point Lookout, the N.C. Wyeth Mural Experience cannot accommodate wheelchairs at this time and is not recommended for individuals with any type of mobility limitation.
Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferrable, and non-exchangeable once purchased.
Tickets will be released for sale three months at a time during the season. Currently we are selling tickets for tours taking place through June 27, 2026. Click here to receive an email notification when the next round of tickets is released. Please note that the above dates and times are subject to change prior to each new ticket release.
Only active Brandywine members are entitled to the member discount tickets. Not a member? Click here to learn more and join.
