Are you seeking a creative outlet but find that your time – and training – are limited? Come to the Brandywine River Museum of Art to unwind, mingle and make art! Designed for adults who want to awaken their inner artists, this program features a hands-on printmaking activity inspired by still-life paintings from Brandywine’s collection. Participants will follow an instructor's lead to carve simple designs into a printing block, which they will use create a beautiful image on a set of notecards. No experience necessary.                                                   

The museum will open at 5:30 p.m. with the workshop beginning at 6:00 p.m. Cost includes art materials and light refreshments. BYOB!

Participants will be guided by artist Mary Frances Millet in applying designs and colors to their fabric, and each person will take home a colorful 12x12" silk pillowcase. No experience necessary.
