Virtual Read Aloud: Imagine!

Families with young children are invited to join Museum staff on Zoom for a morning of fun interactive storytelling and artwork engagement. Each family will receive suggestions for connecting to the book at home with craft and sensory exploration ideas. This live, small-group program will be offered at 10:30 a.m. (EST) on Thursday mornings from January 14 through February 25.

  • January 21: "A Big Mooncake for Little Star" by Grace Lin 
  • January 28: "Claudia & Moth" by Jennifer Hansen Rolli 
  • February 4: "The Little Red Hen" by Jerry Pinkney 
  • February 11: "Imagine!" by Raúl Colón
  • February 18: Thank You, Omu!" by Oge Mora 
  • February" 25: "How to be a Bigger Bunny" by Wendell and Florence Minor 

Please register once per family, using an adult's name and contact information. You will be asked to provide the names and ages of children participating during the check-out process. While this program is available for free, we encourage you to consider an optional Pay What You Wish ticket to help us provide more engaging experiences like these during this time of limited on-site programming. Registrants will receive a link to the the live Zoom discussion room in their confirmation email. The room will open 5 minutes prior to the start of the event.
