Virtual Creative Escape: Block Printed Tea Towels

Sold Out!

Tuesday February 8

6:30 PM  –  8:30 PM

Join Brandywine online to unwind, mingle and make art! Designed for adults who want to awaken their inner artists, this virtual program features a hands-on printmaking activity inspired by the repeated forms in the special exhibition, Wayne Thiebaud 100: Paintings, Prints, and Drawings. Leave the shopping to us – we’ll assemble a kit for you that contains everything you will need for the workshop. Then we’ll gather on Zoom and walk through simple techniques to carve a printmaking block and print a repeated pattern on tea towels. Your tools will be yours to keep! No experience necessary. Program fee includes supply kit (containing two tea towels, printmaking blocks, carving tools, and ink), shipping, and the live Zoom program. Participants will need to provide their own pencil as well as a plastic or paper table covering to protect their work surface. Grab some snacks and your drink of choice, and let’s create together!

Registrants will receive a link to the the live Zoom meeting. The room will open 10 minutes prior to the start of the event.

Supply kits will be shipped. Please register at least one week prior to the event.
