Brandywine Conservancy, Natural Lands and Willistown Conservation Trust are partnering with Pennsylvania Equine Council to offer a one-day Trail Stewardship Workshop with two locations to choose from.This workshop will provide an opportunity for our community to learn sustainable trail layout, construction, maintenance, tool selection and use.The morning session will be a presentation and the afternoon will be a hands-on workshop where you can implement and practice some of what you learned.The workshop is geared towards equestrian trail users, but many of the concepts taught are applicable for all sorts of trail enthusiasts, including hikers, bikers, and cross-country skiers.
Check-in will begin at 8 am at the barn on a private property, 6 Castlebar Lane, Malvern, PA 19355.To get to the barn, follow the driveway past the residence.The presentation will begin promptly at 8:30. Make sure to bring waterproof sturdy shoes and work gloves for the afternoon session.Coffee, donuts, snacks and a light lunch will be provided.
