Steeped in Art

Thursday August 28

Other dates...

2:00 PM  –  4:00 PM

Join Brandywine Horticulturist, Renée Kemmerer, and Museum Educator, Liesl Mahoney, for an afternoon of art looking and tea brewing. The program will begin with a tour of This Earthen Door: Nature as Muse and Material, to look at how two artists interpreted the herbarium of Emily Dickinson. After viewing the way artists respond to nature, participants will harness their own creativity by blending and steeping a variety of locally foraged native plants into teas to sample and enjoy.

Cost includes Museum admission so come early to explore the galleries before the program begins.

Full refunds are available for event withdrawals made two weeks prior to the program. No refunds are available two weeks or less from the event date. Membership fees are non-refundable.
