Virtual Read Aloud: Festival of Colors

Families with young children are invited to join Museum staff on Zoom for a morning of fun interactive storytelling and artwork engagement. Each family will receive suggestions for connecting to the book at home with craft and sensory exploration ideas. This live, small-group program will be offered at 10:30 a.m. (Eastern time) on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, September 14: “Milo Imagines the World” by Matt de la Peña
  • Thursday, October 7: "Luna Loves Art" by Joseph Coelho
  • Tuesday, October 12: “The Magical Garden of Claude Monet” by Laurence Anholt
  • Thursday, October 14: "This is Not My Hat" by Jon Klassen
  • Thursday, October 21: "Katie Meets the Impressionists" by James Mayhew
  • Thursday, October 28: "Room on the Broom" by Julia Donaldson
  • Thursday, November 4: "Festival of Colors" by Kabir Sehgal and Surishtha Sehgal
  • Tuesday, November 9: “Don’t Feed the Coos” by Jonathan Stutzman
  • Thursday, November 11: "And I Paint It: Henriette Wyeth's World"

Please register once per family per date, using an adult's name and contact information. You will be asked to provide the names and ages of children participating during the check-out process. 

Registrants will receive a link to the live Zoom discussion room in their confirmation email. The room will open 5 minutes prior to the start of the event.
