Penguin Court Book Club: "Night Magic"

       Don’t let the diminishing daylight depress you!  Join Penguin Court’s Book Club on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 6-7:30 p.m. to discuss “Night Magic: Adventures Among Glowworms, Moon Gardens, and Other Marvels of the Dark” by Leigh Ann Henion, a New York Times bestselling nature writer. 

       We’ll talk about the wonders that we might find in our backyards after sunset and why darkness is so important for a healthy ecosystem.  We recommend that you read the book before the meeting, but it's not critical that you do.  

       Time, weather, and spirits willing, we’ll stroll along the paved driveway at Penguin Court to look for signs of life in the darkness.  For that, you should dress to be outside, and you might want to bring a headlamp or flashlight and a walking stick for stability.
