Join us at Penguin Court, in Laughlintown, for our second book club meeting on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. We will be discussing Meetings with Moths by Katty Baird. This nonfiction book follows Ms. Baird as she roams Scotland, documenting moths along the way. She will share tips on how to observe your landscape and attract moths to it, while emphasizing the need to support all pollinators.
This program will be led by Penguin Court Program Manager, Melissa Reckner, and Pennsylvania Master Naturalist, Maureen Tuttle, who is a retired librarian. This is a casual, friendly, organic gathering. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided, but you’re welcome to BYO.
This book is a perfect lead-in to the “Mothing Night at Penguin Court,” which is scheduled for Friday, July 26. You must register for that program separately.
