Museum Explorers: Look - Explore - Create!

Explore the Brandywine River Museum of Art both inside and out this summer through weekly adventures for families. Each Thursday morning from July 8th to July 29th discover new treasures in art and nature on scavenger hunts through the galleries and campus followed by creative art projects to complete onsite or take home.

Participate in one or all four programs designed for children ages 3 to 10 accompanied by an adult. Registration is encouraged with four available time slots: 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. Attendance will be limited for this in-person program. Tickets for events hosted by the Brandywine Conservancy & Museum of Art are non-refundable.

Colors, Lines, Shapes, oh my! - July 8th: Search for lines, colors, and shapes in both art and nature and make a colorful hanging decoration.

My Mini Museum - July 15th: Create a mini-museum complete with Model Magic sculpture after finding artistic and natural treasures.

Animal Safari - July 22nd: Discover painted and sculpted animals inside and out, then draw your own imagined creature using oil pastels and geometric shapes.

Natural Beauty - July 29th: Explore Brandywine's landscape through the eyes of an artist and use textured materials to create a 3-D nature scene.
