This event is no longer on sale.

Thursday February 9

7:00 PM  –  8:00 PM

Are you looking to dedicate a special space to native plants but don’t know where to start?  Join Stephanie Armpriester, Director of Conservation and Stewardship and Julia Steiner, Environmental Educator for Brandywine Conservancy to learn some best practices when researching and assessing site and interest suitability.  Topics will include navigating potential barriers while supporting your time and space limitations.  This program will build on concepts discussed in the 2022 series “Getting Started with Native Plants,” but all are welcome to attend, especially those just starting out in the native plant realm.

This event is open to the public and may be recorded. It is a "pay what you wish" program with proceeds benefitting Brandywine Conservancy’s education and outreach. Registration is required to receive the Zoom link. Thank you for considering a donation.

This program is part of the “Create Your Own Native Plant Pocket Garden Series.  For those wanting to get started exploring the native plant arena, enjoy this blended virtual and in-person series to learn step-by-step how to construct a small, manageable native growing space to improve the ecological function of your property.
