Gender and Race in Politics: A Conversation

Led by Krysta Jones, co-chair of Women’s Vote Centennial Initiative, this engaging non-partisan discussion will focus on efforts to diversify the voices at the political table. The panel will include Lucinda Robb, granddaughter of President Lyndon B. Johnson and co-author of an upcoming book on the Nineteenth Amendment; Susannah Wellford, Founder of Running Start; and Michele Jones Galvin, descendant of Harriet Tubman and Co-Chair of the New York State Centennial Suffrage Conference as well as Christine Reuther, Dr. Monica Taylor and Elaine Schaeffer, all recently elected to Delaware County, PA Council. 

The Museum will open at 5:30 p.m. with the lecture at 6 p.m. and a reception to follow.
