Join us for a screening of the new documentary on Grandma Gatewood, “Trail Magic,” at 7:00 pm. Though many know that Emma "Grandma" Gatewood became the first woman to solo thru-hike the Appalachian Trail in 1955 at the age of 67, they really don’t know the rest of her story. Director and producer Peter Huston will be in attendance and will lead a Q & A after the screening (8:00 pm). Museum galleries will be open to attendees from 6-7 pm.
