Wednesday August 26

4:00 PM  –  8:00 PM

Get special evening access to Kuerner Farm, a National Historic Landmark, where Andrew Wyeth found intriguing subjects for hundreds of tempera paintings, watercolors and drawings for more than 70 years. Artists working in all media are invited to explore the property where they can sketch, paint or photograph the iconic setting. One of Brandywine's knowledgeable interpreters will be available throughout the event to answer questions and provide insight into Wyeth's creative process.

Participants will meet at the Brandywine River Museum of Art parking lot at 3:45 p.m. before driving their own vehicles to the farm. Access to water and a restroom is available at the site. Participants are responsible for providing all art materials. Spaces are limited. This event is intended for artists to explore Kuerner Farm as a historical landmark and place of inspiration. Model and product-based photo shoots are not permitted during this event. For more information, contact Laura Westmoreland at (610) 388-8120 or LWestmoreland@brandywine.org.
