Join collage artist Kara Mshinda for an inspiring evening of artistic exploration as we delve into the powerful works of “Jerrell Gibbs: No Solace in the Shade.” This hands-on collage workshop invites participants to engage with Gibbs' art through multiple layers of creativity and discovery. Participants will first immerse themselves in the exhibition, capturing inspiration through instant film photography. Using these personal photographs alongside curated found images, you'll craft a unique collage that reflects your own artistic vision and response to the exhibition's themes. You are also welcome to bring your own photographs to include in your artwork!

All materials will be provided, and no experience is necessary. Light snacks will be available and BYOB is encouraged.
