Come to the Brandywine River Museum of Art to unwind, mingle and make art! Designed for adults who want to awaken their inner artists, this program will include inspiration from the exhibition American Beauty: Selections from the Richard M. Scaife Bequest, and feature a hands-on silk dyeing activity. Participants will be guided by artist Mary Frances Millet in applying designs and colors to their fabric, and each person will take home a colorful 12x12" silk pillowcase. No experience necessary.

Mary Frances Millet is a professional artist who works primarily in watercolor and silk dye, often depicting coastal scenes and nature-inspired images. Learn more about the artist at www.maryfrancesmillet.com.

The museum will open at 5:30 p.m. with the workshop beginning at 6:00 p.m. Cost includes art materials and light refreshments. BYOB!

Tickets for events hosted by the Brandywine Conservancy & Museum of Art are non-refundable.
