Join us for the eighth annual Bike the Brandywine, a scenic ride that showcases the beauty, history, and enduring appeal of the Brandywine River.
Now in its eighth year, Brandywine Conservancy is offering a Family Ride for the first time ever! Our 4.5-mile route traverses some gradual hills as it winds its way down to the Brandywine Creek on an out-and-back route within Brandywine Creek Greenway. Sure to offer a memorable experience, this family ride is a must-try for families who want to take in this beautiful countryside together.
This year introduces an exciting new start and finish location at Plantation Field, set in the heart of the Brandywine Conservancy’s protected lands. From this central location, riders will enjoy the scenic views, lush woodlands, and clean flowing water of the Brandywine Creek.
For more than fifty years, the Brandywine Conservancy has worked to protect the region’s water quality and natural resources. When you ride, you’re directly supporting that mission—helping to preserve open space, steward the land, and ensure clean, safe drinking water for our community.
This is a rain-or-shine event. In the case of severe weather, the ride may be canceled, and all registrations will be considered a donation to support the Conservancy’s work.
