Join us for the eighth annual Bike the Brandywine, a scenic ride that showcases the beauty, history, and enduring appeal of the Brandywine River.

Now in its eighth year, the event offers three thoughtfully designed loops—25, 45, and 62 miles (a metric century)—each winding through the Brandywine Creek Greenway and surrounding countryside. Whether you’re a casual rider or a seasoned cyclist, each route delivers a rewarding and memorable experience.

This year introduces an exciting new start and finish location at Plantation Field, set in the heart of the Brandywine Conservancy’s protected lands. From this central location, riders will enjoy fresh routes and new perspectives on this remarkable landscape.

Also new this year, Brandywine Conservancy is offering a Family Ride! This 4.5-mile route traverses some gradual hills as it winds its way down to the Brandywine Creek on an out-and-back route within the Brandywine Creek Greenway. Sure to offer a memorable experience, this family ride is a must-try for families who want to take in this beautiful countryside together.

For more than fifty years, the Brandywine Conservancy has worked to protect the region’s water quality and natural resources. When you ride, you’re directly supporting that mission—helping to preserve open space, steward the land, and ensure clean, safe drinking water for our community.

This is a rain-or-shine event. In the case of severe weather, the ride may be canceled, and all registrations will be considered a donation to support the Conservancy’s work.
