Access to Art & Nature - Sensory Explorations at Home
This event is no longer on sale.
Kits may be reserved free of charge and picked up at the Museum during open hours through October 2. Please select the number of kits you need for your family; kit activities are designed for one individual but can involve family support. Kits may also be mailed for a charge of $10 per family (select shipping once per family).
Families are invited to dive into a variety of resources created specifically for individuals on the autism spectrum or with sensory processing disorder. Sensory Exploration kits that contain artwork reproductions, hands-on activities, fidgets, and access to online content are available to help families engage with Brandywine's art collection from home during this period of limited on-site programming.
Brandywine is committed to providing accessible education programs and works with local families, self-advocates, occupational therapists, and educators to design sensory-friendly programs for visitors on the autism spectrum or with sensory processing disorder and their families. To learn about future sensory-friendly programs contact Laura Westmoreland at LWestmoreland@brandywine.org or 610-388-8120.
