Join Brandywine Museum of Art Senior Curator Dr. Amanda C. Burdan for an online journey through this fascinating exhibition, which traces a persistent vein of intriguing, often disconcerting imagery over the career of renowned artist Jamie Wyeth. Whether introducing curious characters, revealing events from a dream or surveying strange landscapes, Wyeth is at home with uneasy subjects and a master of the unsettled mood. Burdan will discuss Wyeth’s use of arresting imagery in his visual storytelling and share the process of creating this unusual exhibition, on view through June 9, 2024.
