Many aspects contribute to creating a thriving landscape. This presentation will look at conventional landscaping practices and discuss ways we can improve the health of our spaces by making thoughtful changes to these practices.
Michele Christiano began her career at a local garden center over 20 years ago and since then has worked at private estates as well as the public gardens of Winterthur, Longwood Gardens, and Nemours Estate. She has also taught Botany for Gardeners at Mt. Cuba Center and wrote for Fine Gardening Magazine as the Mid-Atlantic regional reporter. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from West Chester University and has completed the Certificate of Merit in Ornamental Horticulture from Longwood Gardens.

Join us for blended virtual and in-person options to experience different views when selecting the most appropriate natives for your personalized growing spaces.
